Matthew McCue
Co-Founder of FIN News & Managing Editor of Emerging Manager Monthly

Matthew McCue is the co-founder and managing director of FIN News and oversees the
editorial content for its publications, including Emerging Manager Monthly. Matthew founded
Emerging Manager Monthly with the aim to amplify the voices of emerging and diverse
managers in the institutional space and highlight the allocators dedicating resources to
identifying and investing with these firms. Over the past 20 years he has advocated for the
importance of diversity in the asset management space as the sole publication dedicated to
ongoing coverage of this critical component of the industry.

Matthew founded FIN News, whose services include FIN Daily, Nonprofit News and FIN
Searches, in 2005. He was previously a reporter with Institutional Investor’s Money
Management Letter, has written for the New York Times and the Bucks County (Pa.) Courier
Times and was an editor for all-news radio station KYW Newsradio 1060 in Philadelphia. He
holds a communication degree from Seton Hall University. He is married and has two
daughters.
