Robert Gordon IV is the CEO of BLCK VC, driving systemic change in venture capital to bridge the racial wealth divide and fuel Black entrepreneurship. At /dev/color, he forged partnerships with leading tech companies to support Black software engineers. He has led at YC-backed firms like Searchlight AI and Hustle. An alum of BLCK VC’s programs, Robert advanced digital initiatives at America’s Promise Alliance. A Villanova graduate and Aspen Institute fellow, he sits on the Board of Empower Work and is a classically trained pianist and jazz saxophonist living in Oakland, CA.
