New America Alliance

Anyori Hernandez is President and CEO of the New America Alliance (NAA), a national
non-profit trade organization dedicated to expanding access to capital within the
investment and asset management industry for emerging managers, with a focus on
Hispanic and Latino asset managers. The NAA operates as both a 501(c)(6) Trade
Organization and a 501(c)(3) Education Institute, connecting members with institutional
allocators to facilitate their success while providing educational resources to develop the
next generation of industry leaders.

Before joining the NAA, Mr. Hernandez spent nearly 15 years at the New York State
Common Retirement Fund, one of the nation's third-largest pension plans, with $270
billion in assets.

Mr. Hernandez played a key role in developing one of the country's most successful
emerging manager programs, committing approximately $10 billion to over 130 MWBE
asset managers across a variety of asset classes. Specializing in alternative asset
management, he became a leading asset allocator, pioneering growth opportunities for
emerging and minority- and women-owned (MWBE) asset managers. His innovative
strategies for providing seed, anchor, and acceleration capital significantly increased the
inclusion of diverse asset managers within the Fund’s core portfolio.
