Chrissie Pariso, Managing Director, MPowered Capital

With 20+ years of experience, Chrissie Pariso co-leads MPowered Capital alongside Marcia Page. Together, Chrissie and Marcia designed the investment strategy of MPowered to specifically meet the unique capital formation needs of emerging undercapitalized managers, including female and underrepresented talent, within the alternative space. Prior to joining MPowered, Chrissie served as a Senior Portfolio Manager at Exelon Corporation and led Exelon’s Women & Minority Manager Program. In this role, she was one of the first LPs to push managers to implement family leave policies, seeking to ensure that GPs are attracting and retaining female talent while creating an inclusive environment for all employees to succeed. Chrissie is currently a member of the Women’s Association of Venture and Equity (WAVE) and Private Equity Women’s Investor Network. In 2016, Chrissie launched the annual Career Forum in partnership with WAVE to help female students access job opportunities in finance. In 2015, Chrissie also launched the annual Women’s Golf Outing in partnership with WAVE to provide women with a peer networking opportunity while learning to play golf. Chrissie, alongside Shannon Zoller and Carrie Pickett, recently launched a new non-profit organization called Colab Connects to enable these two events to scale even further.
