Jason is the founder of Sana Capital, a healthcare venture capital firm dedicated
to reshaping the healthcare landscape by investing in businesses that increase
access, improve outcomes, and reduce costs. The firm's name, Sana, meaning "to
heal" in Latin and "remedy in Spanish, reflects its mission to bridge healthcare
gaps.
Previously, Jason co-founded Mansa Capital, a private equity firm where he
invested approximately $50 million in groundbreaking healthcare enterprises.
Here, he developed a policy-driven approach, blending strategic value creation
with operational enhancements. His leadership has been instrumental across
various board positions, including healthcare integrations, prescription cost
containment companies, and remote patient monitoring platforms.
Beyond his corporate achievements, Jason serves as Treasurer on the Board of
Directors for Comunilife, a nonprofit committed to comprehensive health and
human services. He also contributed his expertise to Acacia Network, a
community-based organization offering healthcare, housing, and substance abuse
services.
Jason graduated magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a
B.S. in Information Systems & Finance, earned an MBA from Stanford Graduate
School of Business, and is a Kauffman Fellow.
