Leticia is a distinguished serial entrepreneur and advocate for gender equality, with a deep commitment to empowering women in business. Born and raised in Mexico City, Leticia has lived in the US, Europe, and Asia, and is now settled back in Mexico City with her partner and two dogs. She is passionate about community development, financial health, and technology, particularly in the fields of fintech, insurtech, blockchain, and AI.
Currently serving as Immersive Learning Global Lead at Meta, Leticia spearheads efforts to build an immersive tech ecosystem that fosters the next generation of metaverse creators and improves access to learning. As an angel investor and General Partner of LEAP Global Partners, she supports Latinx and Latin American entrepreneurs. She is also deeply involved in the Mexican startup ecosystem, serving as a member of Mujeres Invirtiendo, WeInvest LatAm, and AllRaise.
Leticia holds a dual degree in Economics and International Relations from ITAM in Mexico City, along with two M.Sc. degrees from the University of California Davis in Community Development and Agricultural Economics. With over 16 years of experience, she has a proven track record in digital transformation and economic development, particularly through Crea, an organization that has empowered over 200,000 women entrepreneurs in marginalized communities.
