Bharath Srikrishnan

Mr. Srikrishnan is the founder and managing partner of BharCap. Prior to BharCap, Mr. Srikrishnan spent six years as a partner on Pine Brook’s financial services investment team. He was also a member of Pine Brook’s Investment Committee. Before joining Pine Brook, he was a managing director at Five Mile Capital Partners. Mr. Srikrishnan previously was a principal of Lee Equity Partners. Additionally, he was a co-founder and managing director of NewStar Financial, Inc., a financial services operating company. Mr. Srikrishnan began his career as an analyst in the Financial Institutions Group of Salomon Smith Barney and as an associate with Capital Z Financial Services Partners.
Mr. Srikrishnan holds a B.S. from Boston College in Finance, Operations and Strategic Management where he was a member of the wrestling team. He serves as a board member of the U.S. Wrestling Foundation and the Brunswick School and was previously a board member of the YMCA of Greenwich. Mr. Srikrishnan is also a member of the Diversity in Action Steering Committee of the Institutional Limited Partners Association.
