Alejandro Guerrero is the Co-Founder and General Partner at Act One Ventures, a Los Angeles-based seed and pre-seed fund investing in transformative enterprise software companies across vertical SaaS, compliance, service-as-software, and fintech. With $147 million in AUM, the firm is currently investing out of its third fund and backs more than 60 companies. Act One’s biggest success to date is AuditBoard, which it led the seed round for in March 2016. AuditBoard was acquired for $3.15 billion in May 2024 — marking the largest ever sale of a VC-backed software business to a private equity sponsor. Previously, Alejandro was a two-time software founder and creator of the Diversity Term Sheet Rider for Representation at the Cap Table, an initiative to bring diverse co-investors to deals every time a company raises a round of funding. He is passionate about guiding founders through every stage from initial investment to successful exit.
