By way of background, Cat spent the first chapter of her career as an early stage operator before joining the partnership at Primary for five years. During her tenure, she laid the foundation for a best-in-class post-investment approach that helped founders see around corners and iterate quickly towards product market fit, but also meaningfully informed the firm's follow-on deployment strategy.
These days, she is General Partner and founding team member at The Venture Collective, a transformational, early-stage venture business backed by world class entrepreneurs, business leaders, and institutions. The firm is led by a seasoned team of venture investors, ex-founders, and investment management executives who invest their capital, time, and network into transformative technological and scientific innovations solving for the world’s biggest problems. For Cat, alongside investing in a wider range of underserved opportunities, that has meant building a robust portfolio of healthcare investments across maternal health, obesity care, and healthcare infrastructure.
