Sháka Rasheed is a distinguished leader at the intersection of finance and technology who serves as General Partner at Open Opportunity Fund, where he leads Capital Development and Portfolio Value Creation. Open Opportunity Fund is a technology venture capital firm focused on investing in software companies founded by outstanding, overlooked founders.

Sháka’s career spans over 25 years on Wall Street and leadership roles in SaaS technology. At Salesforce, as Senior Vice President of Strategic Banking & Wealth Management, he scaled a billion-dollar sales organization. At Microsoft, as Managing Director and General Manager, he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives for global financial institutions and advised Microsoft’s venture capital fund, M12.

His Wall Street experience includes roles at Bridgewater Associates, Citadel, Lazard, and J.P. Morgan Chase, where he excelled in engaging institutional investors and executing billion-dollar fundraising strategies. Additionally, he serves as a Non-Executive Independent Director at DigitalBridge Group, Inc. (NYSE: DBRG).

A staunch advocate for mentorship and diversity, Sháka holds an MBA from Harvard Business School as a Robert Toigo Fellow, and a BA with honors from Morehouse College. A Miami native, he is celebrated for his visionary leadership and commitment to fostering future talent.
