The firm was established to invest in lower middle market, minority owned companies in the United States principally in the government contracting, healthcare, and franchising sectors. Their most recent vintage successfully secured over $300 million in commitments. FVLCRUM’s mission is to close the US racial wealth gap and simultaneously drive strong investor returns by providing equity capital and leveraging network capital to grow minority businesses and their communities. Specifically, the Fund’s impact objectives are low- and moderate-income community revitalization and stabilization, job creation, and economic development through small and minority business finance, community services, and other development supporting these communities, including communities of color.
