Managing Director
Frank Robinson is Managing Director of Investments at the University of Illinois Foundation as a generalist investor, with a focus on growth assets. In his role he works with the Foundation on investment policy and strategy, and portfolio and investment management. He was previously an Investment Manager at Vanderbilt University’s Office of Investments where his primary focus was on all private asset classes including Venture Capital, Buyouts, Natural Resources, and Real Estate. He previously spent three years at the Museum of Modern Art's Endowment as a generalist investor across all public and private asset classes, with a focus on equities. Prior to that, he was an equity analyst at Goldman Sachs focusing on the Software sector. Frank has also held several roles in technology companies including IBM. He earned an MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, and both a MS in Computer Science and a BE Computer Engineering from Vanderbilt University.
